An eventful week!!
The Spring barley now is in full flower as we say here! One 5 acre peice is not quite here, but it's on higher ground here on the Mendip hills, and that's normal although it was all drilled the same week.
The crops have had just the right balance of warm temperatures and spells of rain to push it on, and it never cease to amaze me how Mother Nature screams her sheer joy at this time of year! a truly beautiful time of year.
Also this week we had some Vip visitors who came to see some of our small collection of combines? It has truly been a wonderful couple of days, and I will be posting this story and pictures soon so keep in touch to latest news for more information.
